Successful applicants may also be considered for short-term contracts of up to 13 weeks based on workforce requirements. You'll work both independently and collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for patients and their families in a dynamic healthcare environment. You will: • Deliver high-quality speech pathology assessment, intervention and management across diverse clinical settings • Work autonomously within your scope of practice, seeking guidance from senior clinicians when required • Communicate effectively with patients, carers and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate person-centred care • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure timely communication and handover • Support service continuity by working flexibly across a seven-day roster and multiple WSLHD sites, including community services Ready to make a difference? Essential Criteria: • Qualification: Must hold a bachelor’s or post graduate degree in speech pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer. Selection Criteria: • Demonstrated knowledge, skills and clinical experience in assessing and managing a paediatric and/or adult speech pathology caseload. • Demonstrated high-level written, verbal and digital communication skills. • Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team. • Demonstrated commitment to evidence-based practice, professional development & quality improvement processes. • Effective time management and organisational skills. • Current Driver’s Licence and willingness to work across sites.
