The Australian Human Rights Commission (the Commission) is Australia’s national human rights institution, dedicated to fostering a society where human rights are upheld, protected, and celebrated. Our Workplace and Community Education Team fulfils the Commission’s statutory obligation to provide human rights education. We do this through the development of educational resources for the community, engagement with schools, and delivery of a workplace training program. We are looking for an experienced and organised Administration Officer to join our team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the Workplace and Community Education team. In this varied role, you will be the first point of contact for community members seeking information about available human rights education resources, and for agencies inquiring about our workplace training programs. This full-time / part time, non ongoing position offers a competitive salary range of $79125 - $86,246 per annum plus 15.4% superannuation. This is a 12 month parental cover position. We offer flexible, hybrid and remote work options. What You’ll Do: • Monitor shared team inboxes, ensuring timely, accurate and professional responses in accordance with mailbox management procedures provided • Respond to requests for fee-for-service training, including workshops and eLearning licensing • Provide logistical support for training delivery, including venue bookings, catering, materials and printing when needed • Book travel and accommodation using the Commission’s travel system • Provide user support for the LMS, including troubleshooting access, permissions and technical issues, and escalating where required • Administer course setup and maintenance, including content uploads, updates and configuration • Support system functionality through basic configuration and language updates • Liaise with system vendors to resolve technical issues and support system improvements • Carry out Financial & Contract Administration • Maintain records and documentation in line with organisational requirements (including SharePoint) • Maintain tracking systems and report on workshop participation, eLearning enrolments and completions, training feedback, revenue data, output and indicator data Prepare quarterly and annual reports • Maintain website content update tracker and provide basic website content updates using content management systems (e.g. Squiz)
