Employment Type: Temporary Various Remuneration: $117.745.00 - $147,664.00 Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: CAM29279 What you'll be doing The position is centered around providing medical support to the Respiratory and Sleep Medicine Department in the appointed hospital. All core respiratory and sleep medicine accredited advanced training positions in NSW are part of the centralised recruitment and allocation process. The position is an accredited Trainee in Respiratory and Sleep Medicine (RACP) working at the level of an Advanced Trainee The trainee is expected to provide effective medical services to patients under supervision, while developing expertise in medical practice, in a complex multi-disciplinary clinical environment. The trainee needs to have demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary clinical team – diligence, punctuality, organisation, record keeping, time management, problem solving skills, team work. The trainee is expected to possess excellent communication (verbal and written) with patients, their families, medical and non-medical colleagues The trainee needs to have demonstrated ability to provide empathetic and expert clinical care, and commitment to ongoing advanced training education, research and teaching; and commitment to continuous quality improvement This training program includes placements within NSW Health and placements external to NSW Health. Depending on the circumstances of your current employment (if applicable) and the placement locations you are allocated to during the program, there may be an impact on portability of leave entitlements and continuity of service for the purposes of parental leave eligibility.
