We're seeking a proactive and customer-focused Customer Service & Administration Officer to join a high-performing Queensland Government team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, thrives on delivering exceptional customer service, and has strong administration skills. Key Responsibilities • Deliver a high standard of customer service to a diverse range of internal and external customers. • Manage incoming enquiries via phone, email and correspondence, ensuring timely and accurate responses. • Work within a KPI-driven environment, maintaining service standards and meeting performance targets. • Build and maintain positive relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders to support the effective delivery of services. • Prepare, update and maintain accurate records, reports and documentation using Microsoft Office and internal systems. • Process data accurately and efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail. • Assist with general administrative duties, including maintaining registers, procedures and business documentation. • Respond to enquiries and provide support to the broader team, demonstrating initiative and professionalism. • Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes and procedures. About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have: • Previous experience in a customer service and administration role. • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. • Experience using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a busy, fast-paced environment. • A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Highly Desirable • Experience using the Ellipse system, or the ability to quickly learn new systems. • Previous experience within a government or infrastructure environment.
