ASO6 Program Manager - APY Lands

About this role

The Program Manager APY Lands is a role within SA Housing Trust and accountable to the Senior Manager, Specialist Aboriginal Programs is responsible for the management and delivery of property and tenancy services to residents in social housing in APY Land communities, Coober Pedy and Dunjiba. The role will manage and coordinate specific program activities, planning, resources, services, and initiatives, developing internal and external networks, and opportunities for service connection. The role will also provide leadership, management and guidance to SA Housing Trust staff to facilitate the achievement of key performance indicators whilst monitoring and analysing regional reports, trends and risks, and develops appropriate strategies in response. Special Conditions • Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a National Police Clearance prior to being employed. • Successful applicant will be required to satisfactorily complete a DHS Screening Unit Working with Children Check prior to being employed and every 5 years. • The successful applicant may be required to hold a current Australian issued Drivers Licence, which must be maintained. • Appointment will be to a specific Region within SA Housing Trust with possible movement to any other Region depending on organisation needs. The incumbent may be assigned to any other area to perform work of a similar nature appropriate to the classification on a temporary or continuing basis. • Significant intrastate, regional and remote travel is necessary, together with some interstate travel necessitating overnight absences, with overnight stays. • Working arrangements that support rotation in remote and non-remote locations. • The incumbent in the role is a Mandated Notifier of child abuse under the Children and Young People (Safety) Act 2017.
