Assistant Centre Administration Officer, Clerk Grade 1/2, Macquarie Correctional Centre, Wellington NSW * WAREHOUSE – STORES ROLE * Permanent Full-time Monday to Friday position in Stores / Warehouse * Clerk Grade 1/2, Salary ($78,000- $84,799), plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading * Great Team Environment * Forklift Licence required, or be willing to obtain a Licence About us Corrective Services NSW (CSNSW) delivers professional correctional services and programs to reduce the risk of re-offending and enhance public safety. It serves a key function of the NSW Communities and Justice Sector by providing effective, safe and humane management of offenders both in custody and in the community CSNSW also works in partnership with other government and community agencies to ensure that offenders and their families are supported. About the role Corrective Services NSW requires a Warehousing Officer (Assistant Centre Administration Officer) to join a vibrant team at the Macquarie Correctional Centre. You will be responsible for providing warehousing duties and administrative support to a Correctional Centre, and your duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: * Operation of mobile plant and equipment such as forklifts, tugs and trailers. * Daily Receiving of Goods * Daily delivery of goods across the centre to administrative locations, inmate housing locations and CSI Industries. * Manual handling and lifting. * Loading and unloading trucks. * Stores and asset management * Purchase Order Creation * Procurement, and inventory management. * Records management, including Electronic Archiving * Some direct, face to face interaction with offenders within a controlled environment. * All miscellaneous tasks as required in accordance with the capabilities of the role. About you To be successful for this role, you will display integrity at all times and be a true team player with excellent communication and organisational skills. You will maintain confidentiality at all times whilst utilising your proven experience and knowledge to meet the demands of this role effectively. Resilience, initiative, high attention to detail and accuracy along with the ability to work under pressure are the key attributes to succeed in this fast-paced role.
