We're seeking enthusiastic, customer-focused and safety-conscious individuals to join our casual team as Bluewater Leisure Officers . About the Role As a Bluewater Leisure Officer, you'll contribute to the day-to-day operations of the Centre while delivering exceptional customer service and helping create a safe, welcoming and enjoyable environment for all patrons. This is a diverse and rewarding role that offers opportunities to work across several areas of the Centre, depending on your qualifications and experience, including: Lifeguard – Ensure patron safety through active supervision and emergency response Customer Relations Assistant – Deliver exceptional front-line customer service, memberships, bookings and enquiries Gym Instructor – Support members with fitness programs, equipment guidance and achieving their health goals Swim School Instructor – Deliver engaging and effective swimming lessons for participants of all ages and abilities Duty Manager – Provide leadership during rostered shifts, oversee operations and maintain service and safety standards You will only be rostered into positions for which you hold the relevant qualifications and licences. What We're Looking For We're seeking people who: • Are passionate about customer service and community wellbeing • Thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment • Demonstrate initiative, professionalism and strong communication skills • Are committed to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment • Enjoy working across a variety of duties and responsibilities • Are available to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings and weekends Essential Requirements • Current First Aid and CPR qualifications (or willingness to obtain) • Current Pool Lifeguard qualification (or willingness to obtain) • Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain) • Strong customer service and communication skills Desirable Qualifications and Experience • Certificate IV in Fitness (required for Gym Instructor shifts) • Swim School Instructor qualification (required for Swim School Instructor shifts) • Aquatic Technical Operations Certificate • Experience working in a leisure, aquatic, recreation or fitness environment • Experience supervising staff and/or patrons in a public facility Salary: $40.78 - $43.90 per hour plus superannuation For further information regarding the duties and requirements of the role, please refer to the position description.
