Business Support Officer (Gov) | Gladstone, QLD $51.13 - $56.73 per hour + Super | 3-Month Contract (Potential Extension) We're currently seeking an experienced Business Support Officer to join a Queensland Government team based in Gladstone . This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys providing exceptional customer service and business support. About the Role As the Business Support Officer, you will play a key role in supporting daily operations by delivering high-quality administrative, financial and customer service support across the business. You will be the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and assist with a range of business support activities. Key Responsibilities • Provide frontline customer service via phone, email and face-to-face interactions. • Manage administrative functions including records management, meeting coordination, onboarding and office logistics. • Process accounts payable and receivable activities, expense claims, reconciliations and procurement tasks. • Coordinate travel bookings including accommodation, flights and vehicle hire. • Support business improvement initiatives and process enhancements. • Provide administrative support during emergency response events when required. About You To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: • Strong administration and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail. • Experience delivering exceptional customer service to a diverse range of stakeholders. • The ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Sound computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications; SAP experience will be highly regarded. • A proactive, team-focused approach and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
