About the role The Senior Social Worker provides advanced, evidence-based care and clinical expertise for children, adolescents and families with harmful sexualised behaviours. The role delivers clinical leadership, supervises staff, collaborates across multidisciplinary teams, and drives quality service improvement within CAMHS. Key duties of the role • Provide expert clinical knowledge and or interventions in child and adolescent mental health • Implement individual, family and/or other group therapies and other specific programs using a range of models and skills. • Provide expert knowledge in monitoring client care plans and clinical review programmes/audits to ensure quality client outcomes. • Work collaboratively with consumers in the development of individual care/treatment plans using a recovery framework. • Promotes access and equity of services for people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. Skills and Experience • Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers • Extensive clinical experience in highly complex cases including assessment, intervention with advanced clinical experience in the delivery of at least one clinical modality relevant to Child and Adolescent Mental Health • High level of interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and work with other professionals, facilitate group functions and work as a team member. • Work with a high degree of responsibility with limited supervision and direction Enquiries can be directed to Lynne Whitcher Administration Coordinator 7117 3845 lynne.whitcher@sa.gov.au Want to learn more about career opportunities at WCHN?
