Employment Type: Temporary Various Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: CAM30291 Where you'll be working Emergency Department Auburn Hospital What you'll be doing The purpose of the position is the provision of safe and effective emergency care to patients who present to the Emergency Department * MBBS or equivalent, currently registered with the Medical Board of Australia * Five years postgraduate hospital experience. * Experience in Emergency Medicine such that the applicant can safely manage as the most senior person in a mixed Adult / Paediatric Emergency Department. * Advanced Resuscitation Skills for both Adult and Paediatric Emergency medicine including Rapid Sequence Endotracheal Intubation and familiarity of Invasive and non-invasive ventilation. * Procedural ability including but not limited to ultrasound guided insertion of Central Lines and Arterial Lines, thoraco-centesis and thoracostomy placement. * Ability to manage Shock including Inotropic Support. * High level of Communication and Interpersonal Skills/ability to work in a team.
