Employment Type: Temporary Various Remuneration: - As per Award ( 147,664.00 - 220,018.00) Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: CAM29796 Position Tagline https://youtu.be/55EA9xcYJJA Where you'll be working This position is based in Western Sydney Local Health District and will be located between Blacktown and Mt Druitt Hospitals What you'll be doing The primary purpose of the Career Medical Officer (CMO) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Blacktown-Mt Druitt Hospital is to provide supervised quality obstetric and gynaecological care to patients in a complex clinical environment whilst developing higher professional maturity and professionalism. The CMO will, under an appropriate level of supervision by senior staff, evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to female patients of presenting in any condition or stage of pregnancy or the puerperium; and female patients presenting with illnesses, injuries and disorders of the gynaecological or genitourinary system. * MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. * Minimum 4 years postgraduate years experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in an Australian Public Hospital or equivalent (not as an Observer). * Demonstrated ability to work in a complex clinical environment. * Appropriate demonstrated clinical skills, clinical judgement and clinical expertise. * Demonstrated teamwork, time management and problem solving skills in a clinical setting and in a multidisciplinary health care team. * Demonstrated participation in teaching and training at undergraduate and/or post graduate level, including supervision of junior medical staff. * Demonstrated commitment to continuing self-education and development, including evidence of participation in continuing medical education / continuing professional development.
