Team: Open Space Employment Type: Casual About the role Lane Cove Council is seeking an enthusiastic Casual Bush Regenerator to help care for our unique bushland and waterways. In this hands-on role, you’ll work alongside our dedicated team to: • Carry out bush regeneration activities across Lane Cove’s beautiful reserves. • Supervise and support volunteers in programs such as Bushcare, HarbourCare, On the Verge, and the Community Nursery. • Contribute to biodiversity conservation and habitat restoration projects. If you love working outdoors, have strong ecological knowledge, and enjoy engaging with the community, this is your chance to make a real difference! About you The successful candidate will have: • Certificate III in Conservation & Ecosystem Management or related field OR an equivalent qualification and experience • Current Class C Drivers Licence • Chemical Accreditation Certification AQF3 • A current ‘Paid Worker - Working with Children Check’ clearance, obtained from the NSW Commission for Children and Young People; OR a willingness to obtain • Current First Aid Certificate OR willingness to obtain • Experience in Bush Regeneration and Natural Area Restoration & Management; What we offer We are committed to supporting our people to do their best work.
