About the Opportunity a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } As a Senior Clinician, you will conduct initial screening assessments, provide brief interventions, evidence-based treatment, case coordination, triage, and facilitate referrals to support services for young people aged 12–25 years, including those experiencing mental health concerns, substance use issues, or other complex challenges. This position plays a key role in ensuring continuity of care and enhancing positive outcomes for young people and their families. In this role you will: * Conduct comprehensive assessments, triage, and determine appropriate clinical pathways for young people aged 12–25 years. * Provide evidence-based treatment, brief interventions, case coordination, and referral to appropriate support services. * Collaborate with mental health services, GPs, allied health professionals, families, and community partners to ensure integrated care. * Lead clinical review meetings and provide clinical advice and support to the Youth Access Team and Youth Complex Workers. * Contribute to service improvement, clinical governance, documentation, and data collection activities. This role is suitable for the following grades: * Counsellor Level 3 * Occupational Therapist Level 3 * Psychologist * Social Worker Level 3 * Senior Psychologist * Sexual Assault Worker Level 3 * Welfare Officer Level 3 * Clinical Psychologist * Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 For more information about this role, please view the Position Description About You We are looking for someone who has: * Relevant tertiary qualifications and professional registration in Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Counselling, Community Welfare, or a related discipline. * Demonstrated experience working with young people experiencing mental health, alcohol and other drug, or complex psychosocial issues. * Strong skills in clinical assessment, risk management, care coordination, and delivery of evidence-based interventions. * Proven ability to provide clinical leadership, consultation, and support within a multidisciplinary team environment. * Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills, with a commitment to youth-friendly, recovery-oriented practice.
