Registered Nurse – Medical Imaging

Join Our Medical Imaging Team We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Imaging Department working across both Gosford and Wyong Hospitals. In this rewarding role, you will provide high-quality, patient-centred nursing care to patients and their families undergoing a broad range of complex diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology procedures. About The Opportunity

Working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team, you will play a key role in ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care throughout the patient's imaging journey. Key Responsibilities • Deliver evidence-based nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic imaging and interventional radiology procedures. • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care to meet individual patient needs. • Monitor patients before, during and after procedures, responding promptly to changes in their condition. • Provide education, support and reassurance to patients and their families. • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, medical officers, allied health professionals and other members of the multidisciplinary team. • Promote patient safety, infection prevention and quality improvement initiatives. • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with professional standards and organisational policies. • Lead, direct and supervise nursing and support staff, including Enrolled Nurses and other healthcare workers, to deliver high-quality patient care. • Contribute to a positive, collaborative and supportive team culture.

For more information about this role, please view the Position Description   A bout You You are a Registered Nurse who: • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA). • Can demonstrate experience in interventional radiology procedures, competency in intravenous cannulation and administration of contrast media. • Has experience in Medical Imaging, Radiology, Interventional Radiology, Day Procedures, Critical Care, Emergency or Perioperative Nursing.
