About this role
Employing extensive experience, skills and knowledge in mental health case management the successful applicant will work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure high quality holistic care for people with mental health issues. Eligibility to practice as a Designated Mental Health Practitioner under the Northern Territory Mental Health and Related Services Act 1998 is required to fulfil the inherent requirements of the role. N3 - Applies advanced nursing/midwifery knowledge, skills, attributes and abilities within a specified area of clinical practice in therapeutic and professional relationships with individuals, as well as with families, groups and communities. N4 - Supports and provides collaborative, appropriate, proficient, coordinated direct and indirect clinical care for complex client presentations, including working with and alongside less experienced nursing and midwifery staff, within the specialty area. Whilst a postgraduate qualification is an essential requirement for ongoing appointment to this vacancy, all applicants will be assessed. If the most suitable applicant does not hold the qualification, they may be appointed on a fixed basis with ongoing appointment subject to attaining the qualification during the fixed term.
