Employment Type:  Permanent Part Time (19 hours per week)  Position Classification:  Clinical Psychologist Remuneration:  $59.59 - $72.63 per hour + Superannuation Location:  Concord Repatriation General Hospital  Requisition ID:  REQ683928        Sydney Local Health District is one of the fastest growing Local Health Districts in New South Wales. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.        About the Role A centre of excellence in the Sydney Local Health District, the Concord Centre for Palliative Care (CCPC) provides sensitive, compassionate, multidisciplinary care for patients with life limiting illness. Embedded within the Centre’s committed multi-disciplinary team, and supported by Concord Hospital’s Psychology Department, the clinical psychologist is responsible for providing high quality consumer-focused, evidence-based therapy to patients and their carers.      For more information, view the  Position Description     You will have: • A current registration with AHPRA and must hold a post graduate degree in clinical psychology (Masters, and/or Doctorate or PhD) that provides eligibility for full membership of the APS and ACPA. • Demonstrated clinical knowledge, skill and clinical experience in the provision of clinical psychology interventions, demonstrated knowledge and skills in the use of therapies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Insight Oriented Psychotherapy. • Demonstrated skills in working with families. • Experience and demonstrated ability in building and maintaining professional and therapeutic relationships through the application of written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
