What you'll be doing The primary purpose of the Clinical Superintendent position is to provide full range of Upper GI surgical procedures for both acute and elective patients and to enhance knowledge and skills in the Surgery disciplines. * MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. * FRACS or assessed as substantially or partially equivalent. Preference will be given to trainees with a commitment to sub specialty Upper GI Surgery. * High commitment to education. * Good communication skills and organisational skills. * Demonstrated teamwork, time management and problem solving skills as part of a multidisciplinary team. * A professional attitude and flexibility in work role with a preparedness and ability to participate in afterhours duty and on-call rosters. * Demonstrated commitment in support and teaching junior medical staff.
