What you'll be doing The Project Officer for Collaborative Commissioning (Far West LHD) will promote, develop and monitor strategic change management for the program and initiatives that will improve the level and quality of health services delivery in Far West LHD. The role will work collaboratively with LHD managers, the Care Partnerships Diabetes team and clinicians and other key stakeholders to facilitate the innovation of new programs and frameworks by undertaking a range of project research, analysis, reporting, implementation and administrative activities in development and delivery of relevant projects, in line with strategic and business objectives. How to apply To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible: • Relevant tertiary qualification, or working towards the same, in health management, project management or related discipline, and/or appropriate health experience. • Demonstrated high level organisational and time management skills including the ability to manage conflict priorities and timeframes to solve problems. • Demonstrated experience in project management and the implementation of projects, frameworks and/or initiatives. • Demonstrated experience working with multidisciplinary teams, and an ability to motivate, lead and use initiative as well as provide advice and recommendations across a large and complex organisation and framework with a sound knowledge of the health system in NSW. • Demonstrated high level ability to interpret complex information rapidly and accurately. • Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with a broad range of external stakeholders including clinicians, health service managers and consumers, to represent and present on behalf of Far West LHD for Collaborative Commissioning. • Demonstrated facilitation skills and proficient computer skills particularly in Microsoft Office applications. • Current licence to drive in NSW, with capacity to travel occasionally (or regularly) for work purposes, including overnight stays (if applicable).
