About this role

About this role: We’re looking for a creative storyteller who can turn ideas into content that our Canberra community actually want to read, watch and share. As a Content Officer, you’ll help bring Icon Water’s voice to life, creating content that connects with the community, supports key initiatives and makes complex topics easy to understand. You’ll work across a mix of projects, from digital content and campaigns to internal communications, collaborating with teams across the business. What you’ll do • Craft content that is clear, engaging and tailored to different audiences and channels • Develop visual assets such as graphics, short videos and photography to support storytelling • Contribute to campaigns by helping shape ideas and producing content that cuts through • Publish and manage content across digital platforms • Work closely with internal experts to gather insights and translate them into meaningful messages • Coordinate your work to meet deadlines and keep stakeholders informed • Apply our brand and style guidelines consistently across everything you produce • Occasionally support after-hours communications and media-related activities. What you’ll bring • A talent for writing with clarity, creativity and purpose • Experience producing visual and written content for digital platforms and online audiences • Confidence explaining complex or technical topics in simple terms • An eye for design and an interest in multimedia content (e.g. video, animations or graphics) • Relevant qualifications or practical experience in communications, marketing or a similar field.
