The Corporate Planning and Reporting Officer plays a key role in establishing and maintaining a robust performance management framework that supports Council's strategic direction. This role is responsible for coordinating integrated planning and reporting processes, ensuring that performance measures, analysis and reports provide clear insight into organisational progress and enable informed decision‐making across the organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and influential professional who enjoys building strong relationships, improving ways of working, and helping others succeed in delivering high-quality project outcomes. Essential: • Tertiary qualifications in business, corporate planning, social policy and governance or related discipline and job related or transferable experience • Sound knowledge of Integrated Planning and Reporting requirements under the NSW Local Government Act and related policies and regulations • Demonstrated experience in business/corporate planning and reporting, including developing key performance indicators, interpreting performance data and preparing reports for a range of audiences • Demonstrated experience in Performance Software Program • Strong problem solving, analytical skills and organisational skills including working within tight deadlines and political environment • High level of verbal and written communication skills including negotiation, engagement, presentation and interpersonal skills • Demonstrated ability to function well in complex and time constrained environment • Demonstrated ability to apply EEO, WHS and ethical practice principles and to act with probity at all times Further Information : Rina Day, Team Leader Corporate Planning on 02 4653 3934 Closing Date for above position : 10/08/2026 Position Description: For full position description details click here
