About this role

The Director of Fisheries Management is responsible for leading a team to deliver management and operational oversight of the Northern Territory’s commercial fisheries, including ensuring the policy settings and administrative functions are effectively implemented and supported by data-informed, risk-based decision-making to achieve sustainable and compliant fisheries outcomes. The position provides strategic advice, leads key operational functions, and works with stakeholders across government, industry and the community to deliver effective fisheries management outcomes.
