About the Role As Director, Service Delivery, you will lead the delivery of critical technology services that enable the Premier’s Department, The Cabinet Office and Ministerial Offices to operate effectively and respond to the priorities of government. You will provide strategic and operational leadership across service management, infrastructure, end-user support and technology operations, ensuring reliable, secure and customer-focused services that deliver exceptional user experiences. Working in close partnership with senior executives, business leaders and service providers, you will drive service performance, manage operational risk and foster strong stakeholder relationships in a highly visible and fast-paced environment. You will champion continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance service quality, strengthen organisational capability, optimise vendor performance and deliver greater value for money through innovative and contemporary technology solutions. As a key member of the Digital and Information leadership team, you will provide trusted advice to senior decision-makers while leading a high-performing team committed to service excellence, accountability and customer outcomes. We're Looking For * Service Delivery Leadership: Extensive experience leading complex IT service delivery environments, driving operational performance and customer-focused outcomes across multiple technologies and service providers. * Stakeholder Engagement & Influence: Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives, business stakeholders and external partners, providing influential advice and resolving complex issues. * Strategic Problem Solving & Innovation: Strong capability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement, leverage emerging technologies and implement innovative solutions that deliver business value. * Vendor & Commercial Management: Experience managing vendor performance, service level agreements and contract outcomes to achieve high-quality, cost-effective service delivery. * People Leadership: A collaborative and inspiring leader with a track record of building high-performing teams, developing capability and fostering a culture of accountability, service excellence and integrity.
