What you'll be doing Provision of planned and corrective maintenance to biomedical equipment & engineering services in health care facilities serviced by Mid North Coast Local Health District in accordance with relevant policies, procedures and standards and in particular AS3551 - Management programs for medical equipment.

Provide professional advice on biomedical equipment and biomedical engineering services across Mid North Coast Local Health District.    About You   You hold a Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or possess qualifications and experience considered equivalent by the employer. You demonstrate practical working knowledge of biomedical equipment within a clinical environment, applying your technical expertise to support safe and reliable healthcare delivery. You bring strong analytical and diagnostic skills, with proven capability in fault‑finding, problem‑solving and maintaining a wide range of general electronics and medical devices. You apply medical equipment multi‑skilling principles with confidence, supported by a sound understanding of the Australian Standards governing biomedical equipment and its safe use. You are self‑motivated and consistently produce high‑quality work, contributing effectively within a team environment while operating with minimal supervision. You communicate clearly and professionally, demonstrating effective oral and written communication skills and the interpersonal capability needed to work with clinical and technical stakeholders.
