About the Role Our services span acute, sub-acute, forensic and community settings across purpose-built facilities including the Professor Marie Bashir Centre and the Concord Centre for Mental Health. We offer opportunities across: • Acute Adult Inpatient Services • Forensic Mental Health • Community Mental Health • Consultation Liaison • Youth and Early Psychosis • Older Persons Mental Health • Eating Disorders • Parent and Baby unit

Whether you are seeking complexity, subspecialisation, leadership development or career progression — SLHD provides structured pathways to support your growth.   The Registered Nurse is responsible for the provision of patient centred; evidence informed nursing care that promotes identified health outcomes. They will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.      For more information, please view the Position Description      Ideal Candidate   • Current nursing registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA). • Minimum of 2 years’ mental health nursing experience; Hold prior experience in mental health nursing, or; Have completed a new graduate program in mental health, or; Internationally trained as a mental health nurse • Demonstrate sound risk assessment and clinical decision-making skills • Practice within a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed framework • Thrive in multidisciplinary environments • Are motivated, resilient and committed to clinical excellence
