About the Role

As the Head of Special Education Services, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Lead and manage the Special Education Program, providing high-quality advice and support to improve outcomes for students with disability.

• Support school leaders and teachers to plan and implement effective reasonable adjustments and inclusive practices.

• Coordinate targeted teaching, case management and access to specialist services for students requiring additional support.

• Build staff capability through professional learning, coaching and guidance.

• Lead school-wide processes for the Nationally Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD) and contribute to whole-school improvement.

• Build strong partnerships with families, community organisations and government agencies, and manage program resources to achieve school priorities.
