Where you'll be working Royal North Shore Community Health Centre, Population Health Promotion What you'll be doing The primary purpose is to lead, manage and support the Northern Sydney Local Health district (NSLHD) Population Health Promotion Healthy Ageing Program. This includes leadership of evidence-based healthy ageing initiatives, community capacity building, age-friendly environments, equity-focused physical activity programs, and collaboration with other Healthy Ageing activities targeting the Northern Sydney older adult population undertaken by NSLHD Population Health Promotion. The role is responsible for leading the Healthy Ageing team and supporting implementation of the Physical Activity Referral Scheme (PARS). People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: Demonstrated experience leading population health, health promotion or healthy ageing initiatives, including program planning, implementation and evaluation. Demonstrated experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams and managing projects, budgets and resources. Demonstrated ability to build partnerships and influence stakeholders across government, health, community and non-government sectors to achieve population-level outcomes.
