Information Governance and Stakeholder Engagement Officer • Salary: $81,496 - $98,955 (Plus Superannuation) • Work Type: Fixed term (external applicants) / Temporary Assignment (internal DJSIR employees) / Secondment (VPS employees external to DJSIR) until 31 March 2027 • Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available) • Usual work location: 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne (flexibility may be available) The Role The Information Governance and Stakeholder Engagement Officer, reporting to the Senior Advisor, Information Governance and Risk, supports the delivery of information management and stakeholder engagement activities that enhance DJSIR's information governance maturity. The role provides administrative assistance, coordination and logistical support across information management, data governance, data classification, critical asset identification and related compliance activities. Main accountabilities: • Exercises professional judgement about the application of rules, or the selection of choices within guidelines • Explains concepts and policies to clients, stakeholders and staff • Obtains, summarises and reports on stakeholder views • Communicates professional/ technical concepts and advice The Team The position of Information Governance and Stakeholder Engagement Officer forms a part of the Information Technology and Workplace Services branch within the Corporate Services group. The Corporate Services group consists of specialist functions including finance, investment and procurement, performance and governance, legal and legislation, people and culture, information technology and workplace services and emergency management. Information Technology & Workplace Services (IT&WS) oversees the delivery of information and communications technology (ICT) related investments, accommodation, facilities, mail, and fleet services to DJSIR About You The successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience: • Working Collaboratively: Builds a supportive and cooperative team environment; Engages other teams to share information in order to understand or respond to issues; Supports others in challenging situations. • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: If required, determines additional information needed to make informed decisions. Applies critical thinking and problem-solving concepts in the right context. • Project Delivery: Defines tasks to be delivered to meet agreed outcomes; Coordinates and guides others in the execution of work activities; Monitors progress of tasks against plans and takes corrective action when required.
