In this role, you'll: Be working within the Engineering and Maintenance division of Sydney Trains in the Major Works branch which delivers a range of major and minor construction works, routine maintenance and emergency services that ensure a safe and reliable network for our metropolitan and regional customers. This role will see you carrying out maintenance, emergency repair and construction of works to agreed high standard and within set timeframes in accordance with Signalling Technical Maintenance plans, Signalling Construction Standards and Infrastructure Engineering Manuals. You also understand that our network never stops so are prepared to support the network by working nights, weekends and overtime with some on-call availability as well as living away from home if required. These roles operate in multiple locations across the Sydney Trains Network, that may include, Clyde, Sydney CBD, Sydenham, Lawson, Blacktown, Wollongong, Glenfield, Hornsby, and Sutherland. You love working outdoors and being able to carry out manual work to detailed safety and work instructions.
