Employment Type: Permanent Part - Time Position Classification: Care Service Employee - Grade 1 Remuneration: $54,704.53 per annum, pro rata (+ super +17.5% leave loading where applicable) Hours Per Week: 12 Requisition ID: REQ677265 Location: Gundagai MPS About the role: We are looking for an enthusiastic Laundry Assistant to join us in this crucial role to provide various laundry services for the Gundagai Health Service As the Laundry Assistant, you will be responsible for: * Washing, drying and ironing personal clothing. * Operating laundry machinery * Loading any washing machine or dryer to its correct weight requirements and cleaning of all laundry machinery as required. Our ideal candidate will: * Demonstrated skills and experience working within a laundry or similar area. * Demonstrated knowledge of infection control guidelines. * Sound communication verbal and written skills. * Experience in the operation of laundry machinery. * Understanding of WH&S principles and its application in the workplace. * Knowledge of Quality Assurance Systems.
