About this role

The Manager (Placement Services) leads and manages Placement Services and Finding Kin teams in the delivery of high-quality placement services to children and young people and oversight of Regulation of Care in accordance with legislation and practice guidelines. This role includes overseeing the process of finding kinship carers for children and young people with a strong focus on culturally appropriate care arrangements, regulation of care and placement services related tasks and oversight and establishing enduring productive partnerships with carers, the community, the public and non-government sectors, along with the ongoing professional development and management of staff. You are also responsible for managing the financial, physical, and human resources within the Unit.
