In this role, you'll: Work as part of a high-performing team within Transport for NSW's Complex Development Services function, delivering expert planning assessment and advice on major developments, infrastructure projects and complex planning proposals that shape the future of the state. This role will see you leading the assessment of Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) projects and other significant developments, managing a specialist team while applying your technical expertise to provide planning, transport and infrastructure advice that supports sustainable growth across NSW. You will lead planning outcomes, broker stakeholder engagement and build collaborative solutions that balance development objectives with the long-term protection and performance of the state's transport network. Working in a complex and high-profile environment, you'll navigate competing priorities, statutory requirements and infrastructure challenges while contributing to projects of significant strategic importance for regional NSW and the state's renewable energy future. About you Your leadership, stakeholder engagement and planning expertise, formed across statutory planning, transport planning, urban planning, civil engineering, infrastructure delivery or related sectors, will see you excel in leading complex development assessments and delivering high-quality planning advice on major projects. You bring the technical capability to assess transport and infrastructure impacts, combined with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary inputs, influence outcomes and manage competing stakeholder interests to deliver practical and effective solutions. You're recognised as a trusted and proactive leader, skilled at building strong relationships, translating complex technical matters into clear advice and fostering collaboration across government, industry and community stakeholders. You'll have experience leading people, managing complex workloads and driving outcomes in environments where strategic thinking, sound judgement and effective communication are critical to success. Experience in development assessment, integrated land use and transport planning, or major infrastructure and development projects will be highly regarded.
