About this role

We are currently seeking applications for a Ministerial Chauffeur and Fleet Support Officer to join the Electorate Services team at The Department of Treasury & Finance for a period of 12 months. Remuneration / Classification: ASO4 – Salary Range ($76,561 - $80,256 p.a.). About the opportunity: Join the Department of Treasury and Finance in a unique role supporting the delivery of professional, safe and reliable transport services to South Australia's Ministers and approved VIP clients. As the Ministerial Fleet Support Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the Ministerial Chauffeur Service through a mix of operational coordination, workforce support, fleet administration and stakeholder engagement. Working in a fast-paced and high-profile environment, you will contribute to services that support government operations while collaborating with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. In this role, you will: • Coordinate operational and administrative support for the Ministerial Fleet service. • Support workforce activities including payroll, employment documentation and rostering. • Manage fleet maintenance, vehicle leasing arrangements and service providers. • Build strong relationships with chauffeurs, ministerial offices and key stakeholders. About you To be successful in this role, you will be: • A highly organised professional who can manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines. • An effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels. • Experienced in delivering business, operational or administrative support services that drive positive outcomes. • Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information with discretion, judgement and integrity. • Proficient in using business systems and technology, with a strong focus on accuracy, customer service and continuous improvement.
