Power Pages Developer • Initial 3-month contract • Osbourne Park + Metro Location • Supportive team environment About the company The Power Platform Developer will be responsible for delivering end-to-end solutions, including migration, upgrade, and deployment of Power Platform applications. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth technical expertise in Power Platform development, integration, and governance, ensuring a seamless transition to a supported, scalable, and secure platform environment. About the position We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Microsoft Power Platform Developer to join our team and lead the modernisation of the Departments Power Platform application, SPIS. This role involves upgrading the existing Power Portal-based application to Power Pages, implementing deployment automation, and establishing a robust Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) environment within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem. Key responsibilities • Lead the upgrade of SPIS from Power Portal to Power Pages, following best practices. • Support deployment automation via the SPIS pipeline established in Phase 1. • Design and implement a comprehensive ALM solution, enhancing stability, robustness, and user experience. • Migrate unsupported legacy applications to current supported platforms. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Maintain documentation related to architecture, security, and deployment processes. • Ensure governance, permissions, and security models are adhered to, including B2C and role-based access control. • Integrate Power Platform components with other Microsoft 365 and Azure services, such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Logic Apps, and Function Apps. • Provide technical guidance on Power Platform best practices and compliance. To be considered, you will demonstrate This is a hands-on technical role requiring deep expertise in Microsoft Power Platform and related technologies. • Extensive experience with Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven) and Power Automate. • Proven track record of upgrading unsupported Power Platform applications to current versions. • Strong understanding of Power Platform components, environments, storage, security, and administration. • Experience designing and executing migrations of legacy applications to supported platforms. • Familiarity with Power Portal and Power Pages development. Governance & Best Practices • Deep understanding of Power Pages governance, including permissions management, roles, and access control (including B2C scenarios). • Ability to develop clear documentation covering architecture, templates, scripts, and support procedures. • Commitment to following industry best practices for application security, deployment, and lifecycle management. • Proven experience in Power Platform application development, migration, and upgrade projects.
