Principal Program Officer

About this role

As the Principal Program Officer, you will:

• Coordinate day-to-day operations to deliver on relevant Community Recovery outcomes, supporting the department's capacity to deliver and maintain quality services. • Lead and support a team to deliver quality outcomes that align with organisational objectives through building team capability by providing guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities, while fostering a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture. • Provide high-level strategic, tactical, and operational analysis, advice, and reporting on matters related to Community Recovery data collection, management, analysis, and performance. • Develop and implement business intelligence solutions and best-practice procedures to ensure that departmental data and statistics are processed, presented, and reported in an accessible, replicable, and high-quality manner for internal and external stakeholders. • Engage with communities of practice and stakeholders to provide expert advice on data performance, reporting, and intelligence. • Contribute to and apply data governance activities by reviewing, evaluating, documenting, and updating processes and methodologies used in the maintenance and reporting of Community Recovery data. • As a lead team member of Strategy and Engagement, participate in and contribute to strategic and business planning processes, providing guidance and mentorship to team members. • Prepare a range of high-quality written materials, including executive correspondence, briefing material, speech notes, and information papers related to Community Recovery programs and initiatives delivered by the business unit.
