As Australia’s largest multi-artform cultural institution dedicated to children and young people, Carclew is a vital part of Australia’s youth arts and arts sector. Carclew, with a more than 50-year legacy, works to amplify and elevate the youth arts sector across Adelaide, South Australia and nationally. We’re looking for an organised and proactive Program Coordinator, Creative Learning and Engagement (ASO3, 1.0 FTE) to join our Creative Programs and Pathways team. If you are passionate about supporting children and young people through arts and cultural participation and enjoy working in collaborative, fast-paced creative environments, we’d love to hear from you. As our Program Coordinator, you will play a key role in coordinating Carclew’s Artists in School Communities programs, supporting the delivery of creative learning opportunities that connect children and young people with artists and creative practitioners across South Australia. Working collaboratively with schools, artists, community partners and colleagues, you will help ensure participants and stakeholders have positive and well-supported experiences. You will coordinate workshops, residencies and other creative learning activities, manage program logistics and communications, support artist engagement and onboarding, and contribute to program administration, evaluation and reporting. While the role has a primary focus on Artists in School Communities, the Program Coordinator works across Carclew’s broader Creative Programs and Pathways portfolio, supporting a range of programs and initiatives and contributing flexibly to organisational priorities. The role is suited to someone who is motivated by creating engaging, artistically ambitious and high-quality experiences for children and young people. You will bring experience in program or project coordination, arts administration, community engagement or a related field, together with excellent organisational skills, initiative and attention to detail. You are energised by the opportunity to work alongside artists, schools and communities to create meaningful and high-quality creative experiences for children and young people.
