Project Officer – VET Learner Management System (LMS) At the NSW Department of Education, we educate and inspire lifelong learners – from early childhood, through schooling to vocational education and training. * Temporary Full-Time up to March 2029 * Location: Parramatta * Salary starting from $ 116,981 up to $124,492 + Super + flex leave About the role We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Project Officer – VET Learner Management System (LMS) to support the ongoing development, enhancement and operational management of our Vocational Education and Training (VET) LMS. In this role, you will work closely with business stakeholders and the IT Directorate to coordinate system changes, facilitate change request processes and ensure minimal disruption to services. You will contribute to the design, testing and implementation of system improvements, develop engaging and compliant online learning content, and provide high-quality support to end users. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities to improve business processes, maintaining system documentation, testing system integrations and ensuring the LMS continues to meet organisational and compliance requirements. For further information please click here to view the role description About you - You are an organised and adaptable professional with experience supporting enterprise systems, learning management systems or business applications. You thrive in a collaborative environment and can balance competing priorities while delivering high-quality outcomes. You will bring: * Experience supporting or administering Learning Management Systems or similar enterprise applications. * Demonstrated ability to manage change requests, coordinate stakeholders and work effectively with technical teams and strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement. * Experience designing, testing and documenting business processes and system enhancements. * Knowledge of online learning design principles and experience converting learning content into digital formats. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical audiences. * Experience preparing user documentation, procedures and support resources and strong customer service, helpdesk and issue management skills. * The ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. * A commitment to quality, collaboration and delivering positive outcomes for learners and stakeholders. * Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
