About this role

You will provide professional prosecution services, including the provision of legal advice to members of the Service on matters before the Magistrates, Childrens and Coroners Courts. Gold Coast Police Prosecution Corps is a large establishment of over fifty staff, operating with a combination of sworn and civilian prosecutors, supported by administration staff. Prosecutors are responsible for police related matters in the Southport Magistrates Court District in addition to a satellite office located at Coolangatta. A position in this office offers a broad level of experience across all Magistrates Court criminal matters, providing a depth of skill and expertise in the field of prosecuting, including a specialist Domestic and Family Violence Court.
