Prosecution Services provides the prosecutorial function in Queensland Magistrates and Childrens Courts. The role of Prosecutor is to provide legal advice and a broad range of prosecutorial functions, including appearances in court on all matters. Mareeba Police Prosecution Corps is a small establishment, responsible for police related matters in the Mareeba Magistrates Court District in addition to servicing Magistrates Courts at Atherton, Mossman, Ravenshoe and Georgetown.A position in this office offers a broad level of experience across all Magistrates Court criminal matters, providing a depth of skill and expertise in the field of prosecuting.
