Employment Type: Temporary Various Remuneration: As per State Award Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: CAM29407 Where you'll be working Royal Prince Alfred Hospital What you'll be doing This position is suitable for someone who is either ready to become a Transitional fellow of the College of the Intensive Care Medicine or is a Fellow of the College of Intensive Care Medicine (or whose fellowship is imminent) who is ready for junior consultant levels of responsibility and is seeking further professional development and training in a highly complex clinical environment in a tertiary/quaternary referral academic centre of excellence. Staff are supported to ensure patients, their families and carers are considered as partners in care to achieve optimal patient outcomes and best possible healthcare experience. * MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia * Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management. * Demonstrated ability to work well in a highly complex clinical environment. * Demonstrated excellent relevant clinical skills, judgement and expertise in critical care. * Demonstrated high level teamwork, time management and problem solving skills in the clinical setting. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Demonstrated ability to perform well at junior consultant level in a highly complex environment. * Fellow of the College of Intensive Care Medicine (CICM) or Completion of the Fellowship Exam of the College of Intensive Care Medicine and ready to become the Transitional Fellow, with at least 5 years' post graduate experience in public hospital service (or equivalent).
