Where you'll be working - Royal North Shore Hospital Royal North Shore Hospital (RNSH) is a principal tertiary referral hospital within Northern Sydney Local Health District, delivering a comprehensive range of complex and highly specialised healthcare services to patients across Northern Sydney and New South Wales. For more information https://www.nslhd.health.nsw.gov.au/RNSH/Pages/default.aspx What you'll be doing The primary purpose of the position is to provide quality obstetric and gynaecological care to patients in a complex clinical environment whilst developing higher professional maturity and professionalism during the RANZCOG Advanced Training Program, with the goal of obtaining FRANZCOG. Provisional Fellows will, under an appropriate level of supervision by senior staff as approved by the RANZCOG, evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultation to female patients of all ages presenting in any condition or stage of pregnancy or the puerperium; and female patients presenting with illnesses, injuries and disorders of the gynaecological or genitourinary system. We encourage all applicants to prepare these documents in advance to support a smooth recruitment process. * Qualifications and experience commensurate with the Essential Requirements for the role * Demonstrated ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, including providing leadership and direction to ensure appropriate management of patients * Demonstrated ability to work independently within a supervised complex clinical environment utilising excellent clinical skills, judgment and expertise * Demonstrated time management and problem solving skills * Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and computer skills. * Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement, patient safety and risk management * Evidence of continuing professional development and commitment to self education. * Previous experience in and willingness to deliver undergraduate and postgraduate medical education and training. Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination against Specific Diseases To be employed by NSW Health, applicants must provide evidence of vaccination and comply with the NSW Health Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases Policy Directive (PD2024_015). Compliance with this policy, including any amendments made from time to time, is a mandatory condition of employment.
