Employment Type: Temporary Various Remuneration: As per State Award Hours Per Week: 38 Requisition ID: CAM29304 Where you'll be working Royal Prince Alfred Hospital What you'll be doing As a Provisional Fellow of the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Emergency Department (ED), you will provide clinical services to patients within the ED at a senior level, including the supervision of junior staff in addition to administrative and teaching responsibilities and an opportunity to initiate and participate in research. Staff are supported to ensure patients, their families and carers are considered as partners in care to achieve optimal patient outcomes and best possible healthcare experience. * MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. * Fellowship of Australasian College for Emergency Medicine or suitable overseas specialist qualification in Emergency Medicine or final year of training towards fellowship with completion (or expected completion) of the ACEM Fellowship Exam. * Clinical excellence across the entire range of the emergency medicine casemix, including trauma and paediatrics. * Excellent interpersonal skills. * An ability to work as part of a team in the Emergency Department. * Commitment to quality improvement and research in the Emergency Department. * Commitment to ongoing education and teaching of nursing staff, medical students and postgraduate medical staff at all levels.
