Employment Type : Temporary Part Time until 6 February 2028 Position Classification : Provisional Fellow Remuneration : $117,745.00 - $147,664.00 per annum Hours Per Week : Requisition ID : CAM29046 - Upper GI - Provisional Fellow Location : St George Hospital, Kogarah Supercharge your training at St George Hospital What you’ll be doing As a Provisional Fellow in Upper GI, HPB and General Surgery , you will be working with the St George Upper GI Surgical Unit to provide tertiary level Upper GI district wide services including hepatobiliary, pancreatic and oesophagogastric resections for cancer. You will be part of a 24/7 on-call roster for Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery calls via A and E and interhospital transfers along with weekly on call for General Surgery. This roster will be shared with the other Fellows in your Team, and you will have opportunities for learning in Bariatric, Oesophago-gastric and HPB surgery, therapeutic endoscopy, oesophageal physiology and research. You will be responsible for the provision of independent and effective medical care of surgical patients under the supervision of specialist staff and will have responsibilities for emergency surgery and inpatient and outpatient surgical consultations including those in the Emergency Department.
