About the Company Our client is a well-regarded local government organisation committed to delivering high-quality services to the community. They are seeking an experienced Recruitment Officer to join their People & Culture team on a labour hire contract. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering end-to-end recruitment services while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation. About the Role As the Recruitment Officer, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment and selection process across a diverse range of vacancies. Working closely with hiring managers, you will provide expert advice, coordinate recruitment activities, maintain accurate HRIS records and ensure best practice recruitment processes are consistently delivered. Key responsibilities include: • Managing the full recruitment lifecycle from advertising through to onboarding • Preparing and coordinating recruitment advertising campaigns • Liaising with candidates throughout the recruitment process • Coordinating interviews, including panel participation where required • Conducting reference checks and coordinating pre-employment screening • Maintaining accurate recruitment records within the HRIS • Preparing recruitment reporting and analysis • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and People & Culture projects • Providing exceptional customer service and recruitment advice to internal stakeholders About You You are an experienced recruitment professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys partnering with stakeholders to deliver quality hiring outcomes. You are organised, proactive and confident managing multiple recruitment campaigns while maintaining a high level of customer service. To be successful, you will have: • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end recruitment and selection • Strong behavioural interviewing and candidate assessment skills • Knowledge of employment legislation, awards and industrial agreements • Experience using HRIS and Microsoft Office applications • Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills • A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering positive candidate experiences Please note: As part of the recruitment process, applicants are required to provide the names and contact details of at least two professional referees when submitting your CV to client.
