Where you’ll be working:    Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Hospital, You will be working in Ward 3A, a 20 Bed Orthopaedics/Urology/ENT unit with the capacity to surge up to 28 Beds depending on demand. The unit boasts teamwork and continuous career development opportunities. What you’ll be doing: As a Registered Nurse, you will be coordinating and delivering high-quality nursing care to Surgical Patients. This challenging and rewarding role is supported by a structured pathway developed by our Clinical Nurse Educator. People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply. Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

• Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). • Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. • Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability. • A commitment to excellence in nursing practice and continuing professional development. • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team. • An understanding of the professional, ethical and legal requirements of the Registered Nurse.
