What you'll be doing  As a Registered Nurse within the Respiratory Close Observation Unit, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care that supports positive patient outcomes. Working collaboratively with patients, carers and the multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care while promoting evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement. • Deliver comprehensive nursing care using assessment, care planning and evaluation principles

• Monitor, document and communicate patient progress to support safe, effective care delivery

• Collaborate with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal health outcomes

• Support the learning and development of Enrolled Nurses, Assistants in Nursing and nursing colleagues

• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and a positive, patient-focused team environment

Selection Criteria: • Recent relevant experience in clinical setting as deemed appropriate by WSLHD

• Effective interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients

• Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail

• Evidence of computer literacy and understanding of relevant health related information systems
