Registered Nurses ensure optimal outcomes for patients/clients and carers of the service through the promotion of best practice including the appropriate escalation of care. As an advocate for the needs of your patients, you will have the opportunity to shape the way that care is delivered, ensuring every patient receives the respect, attention and expertise they deserve. The successful incumbent may be required to provide support and clinical preceptorship/mentoring to all staff and students. You will work collaboratively alongside a multidisciplinary team to plan, analyse, and evaluate patient care. What you will bring to the role * Current registration as a Registered Nurse Division 1 with AHPRA. * Demonstrated experience and clinical skill in paediatric nursing as a Registered Nurse including completion of a new graduate Registered Nurse program or equivalent experience working as a Registered Nurse. * Demonstrated capacity to provide effective nursing care that is person centred, family inclusive and culturally sensitive to people accessing health services. * Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work. * Demonstrated effective communications written and verbal skills. * Demonstrated commitment to professional development. * Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team. * Ability to work a flexible roster, day evening or night shift across all days of the week according to the unit or team requirements.
