We are particularly interested in candidates with demonstrated experience delivering quantitative risk management outcomes on major rail or metro infrastructure projects, including QCRA, QSRA, contingency management and the use of specialist risk modelling tools such as ARM or @RISK. In this role, you'll: Working within the Sydney Metro project team, you will lead and support project risk management activities across major infrastructure delivery packages, helping project teams proactively identify, analyse, quantify and manage risk throughout the project lifecycle. This role is focused on delivery risk within complex rail and metro infrastructure projects, with a strong emphasis on quantitative risk assessment, contingency management and risk informed decision making. You will work closely with project controls, planning, commercial and delivery teams to ensure risk insights are integrated into project schedules, cost forecasts and delivery strategies. Key responsibilities include: * Leading risk identification, assessment and treatment activities across major project work packages. * Facilitating risk workshops and engaging with delivery teams, contractors and stakeholders. * Developing and maintaining project risk registers and risk reporting. * Undertaking and coordinating Quantitative Cost Risk Assessments (QCRA) and Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA). * Supporting contingency management processes and providing advice on risk exposure and confidence levels. * Using specialist project risk software such as ARM, @RISK or similar quantitative risk tools. * Providing project teams with practical risk leadership and advice to support successful project outcomes. * Supporting the integration of risk management with cost, schedule and project controls functions. * Contributing to interface and integration risk management across complex delivery environments. * Please note, current vacancies are fixed term until 30/07/2027. About you You are an experienced project risk professional with a proven track record supporting the delivery of major infrastructure projects, preferably within the rail, metro or transport sectors. You bring strong quantitative risk management capability and are comfortable working directly with delivery teams in challenging, fast paced project environments. You understand how risk impacts cost, schedule and delivery outcomes and can translate complex analysis into practical advice for project leaders. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate experience in: * Major infrastructure project delivery risk management. * Rail or metro projects, ideally including stations, systems, interfaces or complex delivery packages. * Leading or undertaking Quantitative Cost Risk Assessments (QCRA) and Quantitative Schedule Risk Analysis (QSRA). * Contingency management and confidence based forecasting. * Using ARM, @RISK or similar quantitative risk modelling tools. * Working as an embedded risk leader within project delivery teams. * Quantitative risk analysis and risk modelling techniques. * Integrating risk management with project controls, cost management and scheduling functions. * Managing interface and integration risks across multiple stakeholders, contracts and delivery packages. * You are recognised as a trusted advisor who can influence stakeholders, challenge assumptions and provide clear, evidence based risk insights that support informed decision making and successful project delivery.
