JOB DETAILS: 2 X Permanent Full-Time 35 hours, 5 days/week over a 7-day bandwidth $95,754.05 to $104,907.60 + Super JOB DESCRIPTION: The role provides accurate and timely support for Council and Committee meetings. Key duties include preparing and managing governance business papers, attending meetings and producing minutes, coordinating Council resolutions, and assisting with report preparation while overseeing short‐term projects and business improvements for the Civic and Executive Services unit, You will also maintain high‐quality administrative inputs across multiple systems, manages databases related to Council meetings, drafts reports and correspondence, and supports logistical tasks such as distributing business papers and meeting setup. It also tracks Councillor requests, collaborates across Council to deliver organisational priorities, and undertakes additional duties aligned with the role's skills and training. ABOUT YOU: To be successful in this role, you will possess: • Qualifications in Governance, Business Administration or equivalent, or extensive experience in a comparative field. • Current Class C Drivers Licence. • Demonstrated experience in meeting agenda preparation and taking minutes of meetings within strict deadlines. • Highly developed experience and skills in computers including all Microsoft Office suites. • Achievements in work process improvements that enhance effectiveness, efficiency and productivity. • Highly developed organisational, interpersonal and time management skills. • Highly developed written and oral communication skills with both internal and external customers. • Demonstrated experience in undertaking organisational wide projects and tasks.
