#Feature Employment Type: Temporary Part Time (up to 30 Jun, 2027) Position Classification: Health Manager Level 1 Remuneration: $46.06 - $61.28 per hr (+ superannuation + salary packaging options) Location: Negotiable within WNSWLHD – Find out more Hours Per Week: 16 Applications Close: 6 Aug, 2026 – 11:59pm Senior Aboriginal Project Officer – Intellectual Disability Aged Care, Disability & Palliative Care Directorate About the role Western NSW Local Health District (WNSWLHD) are looking for someone to build authentic relationships with Aboriginal People and their community within the LHD to inform delivery of culturally safe and appropriate care to Aboriginal People with an Intellectual Disability. This position provides a flexible workplace within a hybrid model. The successful applicant will be supported by the Specialist Intellectual Disability Health Team (SIDHT) and key stakeholders in WNSWLHD, with cultural supervision and welfare support from the Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing team. You will receive structured orientation, cultural mentoring, and multidisciplinary peer support, along with ongoing supervision and professional development, to ensure growth and success in the role.
