Senior Change Advisor Digital & Strategic Programs, Building Commission NSW Grade: Clerk Grade 9/10 Location: Gosford, Parramatta, Sydney (2-3 days office attendance) Term: Temporary opportunity up-to March 2027 with the possibility of extension. An exciting opportunity has become available in the Building Productivity Reforms team, within the Digital and Strategic Programs directorate, Building Commission NSW. About the team The team is leading the end-to-end delivery of NSW’s new Building Productivity Reforms – supporting the NSW Government to meet housing supply targets by modernising and streamlining building work approval processes, registration requirements, Modern Methods of Construction (prefab) and to enhance accountability in residential construction, driving greater trust for the NSW community. You will be joining a fantastic team of high performing individuals that are supportive, collaborative, approachable and passionate about delivering this incredibly important program of work. About the role We are looking for a Senior Change Advisor to step in and continue the development of the end-to-end change strategy, planning and delivery of the change program for all areas of the Building Productivity Reforms – applying sound change management principles and best practice methodologies. This role is responsible for: * Woking with the program manager, workstream leads, and senior business analysts to build a clear understanding of current state and future state designs, processes and workflows * Providing subject matter expertise on change strategies, methodologies and activities * Effectively assessing internal and external stakeholder assessments, change impact analysis, risk analysis and change resistance strategies * Manage projects and oversee the consistent application of the DCS change framework and standards across all programs of work, to ensure consistent engagement and effective change management for internal and external stakeholder groups * Keeping our teams, customers, industry and community at the forefront – ensuring change management activities support our people and our customers through the change To be successful in this role, you will: * Have a strong background in communications, stakeholder engagement and/or change management with a demonstrated ability to create and develop change management plans and strategies * Have excellent written and verbal communication skills * Demonstrated experience managing large stakeholder groups * Be confident in collaborating with various teams across the business, department, government agencies, local government, industry and community * Have a background in people management or leadership skills to support a small team to grow, develop and achieve goals * Ready to take on a new challenge, work with purpose and join a warm, friendly, supportive and incredible team of people.
